Review: Lush The Comforter Shower Cream

The Comforter bubble bar (review here) is one of my favourite Lush products, everything about it is perfect so when one of the lovely ladies in Lush told me the Oxford Store exclusive shower cream was going to be brought to all stores I was definitely keen.

I purchased the 100g bottle which is the smallest as I already have a bottle of 250g Yummy Mummy to use so splashing out on a large bottle seemed pointless.

Once squeezed out of the tube the scent is a lot stronger than I expected, it really reminds me of an old fashioned sweet that I can't remember the name of. The consistency is light and quite runny full and I'm sure this is why I found it difficult to lather but nevertheless it felt great to apply and I feel lovely and moisturised.

Even though this is called The Comforter, it's way out of my comfort zone, the vibrant pink shade, strong fruity scent and tons of shimmer makes is just not for me. I kind of feel like it's for teenage girls but I know that's not true as plenty of Lush addicts adore this product. I know I'll finish the bottle but I won't be repurchasing this, I think the bubble bar is the only comforter product I'm interested in.

Keep your eyes peeled for some more Lush reviews, I've already posted about The Experimenter but I've got a few more to come!

What do you think of this product? x

  1. Sounds like a product that's definitely worth a try, even if it's only a one-time buy. Great review!
