The Glamour Summer Beauty Edit

Once again there is another wonderful Glamour Beauty Edit, this time it's all about Summer '15 and I'm loving it.  The collaboration between Latest In Beauty and Glamour is something that I will always enjoy, though I'm not sure my bank agrees. I have bought a majority of their beauty boxes depending on what the contents are, they're to blame for me re-purchasing a lot of products I now use on a daily basis such as Benefit's They're Real mascara, Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish and even the Laura Mercier foundation primer. Though these beauty boxes are the reason I now have a collection of facial oils that seem to be included in every box and I never get round to using.

There's a huge range of products in this box and although there wasn't anything that screamed 'you need me' the bundle was hard to resist as I'm certain I'll use each item frequently, so let's get down to business and talk about what they decided to include.

Vita Liberata Trystal Bronzing Minerals and Luxury Kabuki Brush (Full Size £35.00)
This was a product I definitely didn't look at when I read about the products and when I first opened the box the rose gold handle on the kabuki brush gave me hearts in my eyes and it's so damn soft I was sat brushing it along my fingers for a good while. In regards to the bronzer it's claimed to create a tan that will last up to five days, as I have a very pale face that never wants to tan naturally this will be an exciting product to try.

L’Occitane Aromachology Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner (Shampoo £6.50 - £27.50 and Conditioner £6.50 - £27.50)
These beauty boxes often include shampoos and conditioners, this pair definitely look like they will do my hair some much needed love. Though I like to save these small bottles for travel as they come in handy.

Nails inc Gel Effect Nail Polish in Uptown (£15.00)
I am completely aware of the Nails inc brand, yet I've never tried any of their polishes. I'm actually really happy I received the Uptown shade because I've never been a fan of bright pink nails.

Eucerin Sun Protection SPF 50 Sun Fluid (£12.00)
It couldn't be a summer edit box without some sun protection right? There were four options you could receive and mine was the mattifying sun fluid for the face. When I was on holiday I didn't even think of applying sun lotion to my face and I soon looked like a tomato and covered my face in protection thereafter, so I know I'll be using this when I'm out in the sunshine with a bare face.

Seekers of the Sun Temporary Tattoos (Other sheets £10.00)
I'm pretty certain this is what drew me to ordering this box, I have an obsession with transfer tattoos at the moment and these ones are so pretty, we all know I love purple.

Pixi Glow Tonic (Full Size £18.00)
I always see and hear of the Pixi brand yet have never tried any of their products. Their glow tonic is definitely a highly spoke of product so I'm looking forward to trying it, I do love using toners as I feel they really clear my skin and is this is exfoliating it should do my skin some good.

Caudalie Divine Oil (Full Sizes £17.50/£27.00)
Once again we have an oil, didn't I say so? My brain struggles to understand how putting oils on oily skin can actually do me any good though I have been trying to use them more, maybe this one will be what I needed to make a difference as it definitely looks good.

Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish  (Full Size £18.00)
I'm super bad at using body products that benefit my skin and someone should slap my wrist because my skin doesn't thank me for it. I rarely moisturise, I don't exfoliate and I would never think of using a toner on my body? But apparently this product does it all so I think I'll have to try it out, got to love a multi-tasking product.

Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon in Fuschia Libre (£7.99)
Lastly we have a good old make-up item, I've been wanting to try these lip crayons for a while but haven't found an excuse to purchase one but now I can he happy, especially as out of the three shades I received the darker pink which is much more my colour, especially as I lost my Clinique chubby stick that was a similar shade (Life tip: Don't take expensive products that you haven't even used yet out with you on a drunken night out when your clutch is tiny)

Have you purchased this beauty box? x

  1. I have to say I LOVE the box, it's so fun :) I really like the contents of your box. I'm subscribed to Birchbox and it's actually got some similar products in - like a product from Pixi and temporary tattoos too!
