May Favourites

I was on the hunt for some new tweezers and when I spotted these Browtician Minimalist Slant Tip Tweezers in Superdrug and I loved the idea of a case to keep them safe. They had a small range with different patterns and styles, but I choose the simplistic black ones of course. I always worry about trying new tweezers as it's easy to purchase ones that don't pick up hairs at all but these are perfect. They're easy to hold and you are able to grab the hairs precisely.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is a popular choice for all make-up lovers though I was late to the game and only bought it last month amongst this Boots haul. I now use it on a daily basis, blending around the jawline and hairline as well as using it to get any excess foundation off the skin to create a lighter finish.

My Popband London Hair Bands were one of the items included in the Glamour Party Beauty Edit last year, they're elasticated fabric that's knotted to avoid kinking and catching. I honestly didn't believe in these, but I've recently started using them after I've washed my hair as that's when it's most likely to kink and they work perfectly.

I was in Topshop browsing their lip products when their lip bullets caught my eye. I've only ever tried their lipsticks and I loved the Lip Bullet in There She Goes so I decided to treat myself. It's a lovely pale pink shade with a hint of shimmer, perfect for Summer. The only downside is that it's not so great on cracked lips so I use my finger to blend it in fully.

I've been trying to clean my brushes regulary so I purchased the MAC Brush Cleanser when Debenhams had an offer. It's perfect for cleaning brushes quickly, especially eye brushes. I purchased a spray bottle as it's easier to spray the cleanser onto the brushes directly and then rub them onto a paper towel. It cleans the brushes thoroughly and allows them to dry quickly.

What products have you loved through May? x
