In regards to beauty, nails are my main priority. Freshly painted, chip-free nails do wonders in tying a look together. As summer is just around the corner, we are able to ditch the dark autumnal shades and substitute them for something more light, bright and summery! There are a lot of cute designs that you can do, but for this post I'm going to keep it simple. We all know that Pinterest tutorials looks beautiful until you try them yourself, let's avoid that and stick to colours rather than patterns for now.

Essie.
Although Essie nail polishes are quite expensive, I would definitely say they are worth the cash. I bought mine from Boots for £7.99 each, which is quite dear but I think you can get them cheaper from other places. I love this brand a lot because the polish doesn't chip easily, it looks freshly done for longer than cheaper brands. For this summer I am loving light shades as they look so good with the all white trend. 'Ballet Slippers' is a very pale shade of pink which I think looks very beautiful, especially if you're wearing light colours. You can apply as many coats as you like to get your desired shade of pink, but either way it looks very natural and it's not too bright.
Another colour that's more natural, without a hint of pink is 'Limo-scene'. It's like a clear coat but with a hint of white for colour. The more coats you add, the colour turns into a kind of ivory shade which looks lovely. I really recommend this one because even if you're not an expert at doing your nails, it's not dark enough for people to be able to tell. It's really classy and natural and makes your nails look really healthy.
Lastly from Essie, let's add abit of colour. 'Bikini so teeny' is a little darker than a pastel blue and gives your #ootd that little kick that it needs. I love to wear this if I'm wearing white lace or a nice summer dress. It really stands out but it's not too bold that it takes all the attention away from everything.

Barry M
A cheaper option is Barry M nail polishes. They have a huge range of colours to choose from. Matte, glittery, cracked you name it, they have it. Although I absolutely love their white polish which I think it timeless and always on trend, especially in summer. I really love 'Vanilla'. It's a matte colour and it looks so good, I've been obsessed with it. It dries so quick and it's such a nice, neutral colour it goes with anything. Although it's not bright, that what I love about it. Subtle yet elegant in a sense. I really recommend this one, it's a beauty and you can use it throughout all four seasons.

Matte
I really still love the matte trend and I don't think it'll ever get over it. If you're like me and just can't let it go, I recommend Super Matte Surface Oil. It's so good, and instead of choosing between a matte colour and a normal one, you can have the best of both. Put a coat over any nail polish and it turns it matte almost instantly. It's such a good investment and it helps if you like to change it up a bit. You don't have the commitment of buying that type of polish. It's not heavy and it doesn't ruin the colour either. A must buy!

Well I hope you give some of these colours a go and tell me what you think. And what are some of your favourites?
