Review: Lush Popcorn Scrub

Oh yes it is another Lush review, but you can blame my local Lush store for allowing me to win so many goodies! Today I'm talking about their Popcorn Lip Scrub, a product I would never usually go near.

Lush Popcorn Scrub

It's a small pot filled with sweet goodness scented just like sweet popcorn and of course once applied it tastes of that too, definitely living up to the name. I should probably mention I'm not a huge fan of sweet popcorn so this product isn't ideal for me.

I scooped a small amount of the scrub onto my finger and it immediately felt like sugar and applying it to my lips was a little odd. I rubbed it in like I would any usual lip product and I could quickly smell the sweet scent. I was too tempted to give it a taste, to which was as expected, very sweet. You tend to get in a short routine of applying the scrub and then licking it off again which is a terrible idea, so I applied a balm on top as it suggests on the instructions and although it stopped me licking my lips it ensured my usual balm was covered in sugary granules.

After a few days of regular use my lips definitely felt smoother and there was no sign of cracking, showing this product does the job. The use of this scrub also encouraged me to use my lip balm more regularly too which of course makes a massive difference to the state of my neglected lips.

At £5.50 a pot it's definitely a good value for money as you only have to use a small amount per application so it lasts forever (sorta)

Have you tried this lovely Lush scrub? x
