Review: Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar

I have a new Lush favourite everybody, and it's something the majority of you have probably tried centuries ago: The Comforter bubble bar.

If you've read this post you'll be aware I recently won a Lush giveaway and one of the lovely prizes was this pink swirly bubble bar. It looks pretty, smells of berries and is pretty huge in size. I've only ever used the Magic Wand bubble bar from Lush, so I was very excited to give this a go.

I struggled to break the bar as it's very dense, but managed a nearly clean snap of around a third as I assumed this would be a sensible amount. I wasn't sure what to expect, just a few bubbles and a pink tint, let's just say I was underestimating.

I crumbled the bar under running water and it soon started to soften and bubble in between my finger tips, which all felt rather lovely. The water turned a gorgeous shade of fuchsia and the bubbles were everywhere, the more I swirled the bath around the more the bubbles appeared.

I understand why it has the name The Comforter, it's truly a bubble bar for that relaxing bath, as the bubbles surround you and the fruity scent is misted in the air, trust me the photos do not do it justice.

Though the price is a little steep at £4.75, a little does go along way depending on how much you use each time. Obviously the smaller the snaps, the longer it will last. I will however be repurchasing it once I've used this one up, because I loved it.

Have you tried this product? x
