What's In My Bag

I've been eager to write a what's in my bag post for a while, though I had the worst timing as everyone seems to be having the same idea. The last time I wrote a what's in my bag post was in October 2013 so it's nice to see the changes.

First things first is of course my bag, this is rather new and purchased from TU at Sainsbury's which is quite surprising. The lilac shade really stood out to me and I was rather pleased that the detailing is silver instead of gold and the strap was such a long length. Once opened it reveals a pleasant pastel floral pattern and a zipped section to stop your items falling out. It's priced at just £18 though it was 25% of TU and I also have 10% colleague discount, making it very affordable.

This is my simplistic Accessorize purse that I purchased many months ago. It's perfect as it has a front section with I tend to place bus tickets and tons of card holders, slots for notes and the idea zipped compartment for change. I always choose a black purse as it goes with everything and refrains from getting dirty.
You'll always find a few basic beauty items in my bag. Depending what my look is for the day the products can vary, and sometimes they'll be kept in a small make-up bag to keep them tidy and to ensure my bag stays clean. I always carry around my Maybelline concealer for any touch ups as well as my Real Techniques powder brush to stop the shine. Then it's lip products, I've loved using the Balmi lip balm but unfortunately the lid's broke so I only take it if I'm using a make-up bag, so I've started using a Carmex balm instead. I'll also include my lip choice of the day, which is often my Maybelline nude.
My black Tangle Teezer never leaves my bag. I have many of these yet I chose black for my bag as like my purse it never clashes.
A beauty product I seem to carry around with me 24/7 is a travel Soap & Glory body mist. At the moment I'm using it in the fragrance Glam A-Lot which I received in a gift set at Christmas.
Of course I can't go anywhere without my trust iPhone 5S. I've recently purchased this case from Sainsbury's for £6.
In relation to my phone is my Urban Revolt portable charger. It's definitely on the large and heavy scale, but it holds a lot of charge and I purchased it in the sale from Sainsbury's when I began the struggles of a dying phone. The only pains are bringing my lightning lead and remembering to charge it up.
I couldn't do an honest what's my bag without including the essentials. Tissues, wet wipes and ibuprofen. Practicalities are just as important as pretty things.
Apple headphones are a bit of a boring item but they're still an essential as I use buses all the time.
If you've read this post you'll know my Raybans are new. They're only to be added to my handbag when it's sunny of course.
When it's raining however, out goes the shades and in goes the umbrella. Black of course.

So that is it, I'm sure there are other items but this post is long enough already. It's surprising how much I can fit in such a small bag, I'm like Mary Poppins.

Do you have any what's in my bag posts? x
