Guest Post: Undefined Style

Heeeeeey lovelies, Jess has kindly invited me to guest blog, which I'm very excited about!

So…I’m guessing you’ll want to know a bit about me?! Well, my name is Jaimee. I'm a 23 year old Bournemouth based Fashion & Personal Style (newbie) Blogger. I work full time for an insurance company and have been obsessed with all things fashion for as long as I can remember! I'm either “popping” to town to get my fix, browsing online or eagerly trying to get to the tills to pay for the latest magazines in search of inspiration, not to mention stalking other bloggers on Instagram & Bloglovin. To say the least, I love clothes, and after following successful bloggers such as Sarah Ashcroft & Ellie Mack, I can only dream of getting to where they are today – Well done ladies!

I don’t like to “over do it” with my styling, I would say my outfits are usually co-ordinated and minimalistic, and most importantly, comfortable.  I like to buy items that are versatile and can be dressed for daytime casual or glammed up for a night out with the girls. Having had many years in retail management for companies such as La Senza, Monsoon/Accessorize and Jane Norman, I'm very much a highstreet shopper and affordability is key. There are also so many fantastic online destinations now – Missguided, Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing are just a few to name. My aim is share my style with you all and fingers crossed, provide some outfit inspiration to you too.

As I'm fortunate enough to have the beach so close by, I have been itching to get down there and blog a Spring outfit and what better pastel coloured jacket than this beauty from H&M (also available in black), it’s oversized, undone look is perfect for daytime but would work just as well over evening attire. I've played it down with my “lana” skinny jeans from River Island, an off grey vest from New Look and some pointed flats also from River Island. To bring out the yellow in the jacket, I've added an extra pop of colour with this slouchy Zara bag.

I hope you've enjoyed my guest post, and I look forward to any comments or questions and speaking to some of you soon.

xxx

  1. Absolutely loving the coat, it's got such a cute pattern and that color is so nice for spring!
