I was browsing through Boots website for Christmas ideas when I remembered that L'Oréal had released a nude palette last month that I'd spotted on a few Blogger's pages. I quickly added two to my basket (one for a gift) and have been eagerly waiting for the postman to knock on my door.

The first thoughts when seeing this palette was the size, it's a lot smaller than I imagined, I can fit the entire thing on the palm of my hand, but nevertheless it looks smart, simple black plastic packaging with an easy to open clasp and you're welcomed by a huge mirror that covers the underside of the lid and although the palette is a smaller size the pans are the perfect size to fit your brush into. Though they include their own double applicator brush, I definitely prefer to use my own as neither ends apply a great amount of pigmentation nor blend well.

The colour range includes four mattes and six shimmers with a range of pink and purple tones throughout, expectant considering the palette's shade is rosé. There isn't a black insight which makes a fantastic change! In regards to pigmentation and formula I found the matte shades tend to be a little be troublesome when applying, they take a little work to blend well over the lid without streaking. The shimmery shades however are very soft making them easy to blend, though some of the pigmentation is a little off and needs building up.

Overall I think L'Oréal have done pretty well in bring a nude palette to the drugstores and it's the perfect travel palette, small and lightweight with a range of shades for day and nightwear.
