A Day In Bath

I have visited Bath twice in the past and I have been eager to visit for a third time. Although my boyfriend and myself had planned to travel to Bath since the beginning of the year we had never set a specific date, instead we were a little spontaneous.

After arriving and getting overly excited at being able to purchase a parking ticket with a credit card, (how modern) we headed straight towards the Roman Baths, though this did include a quick stop at Costa Coffee to purchase my favourite, a red berry cooler. The Roman Baths are a major part of the city, a historical site showcasing Roman public baths and springs, filled with preserved temple stones, statues and so much more. After exploring the wonders of Roman Baths we ventured around the city, purchasing Krispy Kreme doughnuts and admiring all the shops that blend into the old buildings. We also took a walk by the gardens and Pulteney Bridge, admiring the views and feeling very tourist like. It was such a lovely day we both wishes we stayed overnight so we had another day to explore, unfortunately we had no chance of finding a place to stay and headed home, where we got caught in a horrendous storm, yay!

Have you ever been to the city of Bath?

  3. Bath looks amazing! I love how you also checked out the historical aspect of that too. It looks absolutely phenomenal. And those macarons look so yummy. They are so pretty. I would love to visit this place- too bad I'm not from England. haha
