The Glamour Beauty Edit - Summer

When I opened Glamour magazine to find they'd launched a summer Latest In Beauty The Glamour Beauty Edit I was extremely pleased. You may remember my review of the Winter Glamour Beauty Edit Box where I fell in love with the whole beauty box idea, some of those products are still my favourites.

This box definitely looks impressing, especially when you know it's worth £86.15 yet costs just £16.95 including P&P. Find it on the Latest In Beauty site here.

This was the main reason I was keen to purchase this beauty box as this lipstick is worth more than the box itself at the high end price of £18.50. We've all heard high praise in regards to Illamasqua lip sticks and as this is my first from the brand I can't wait to try it. I'm not overly fond on the colour but I'm sure using it with a tint or gloss will change it completely.

I've always heard of Hawaiian Tropic yet never been around to using it, especially as I hardly ever touch a sun cream, so it's probably a good idea that I now own this. This shall be a beach-bag must have due the size and I must admit the scent is amazing.

This is a clever product I've seen on many beauty blogs since it's release. Fake lashes without glue or any fuss, something after my own heart. This is also another item that is worth more than the box itself as, happy days! I am definitely going to be doing a review on this soon so we shall see how well this clever invention actually works.

If you know me, you'll know I love Rimmel products as they're such high quality yet reasonably priced, so this is a nice addition to my collection.  I was pleasantly surprised when I realised this is a BB tanner for the face as mine is completely white no matter how much time I spend in the sun. I did receive this in medium so I'm hoping this doesn't apply to dark on the skin, though it does wash off which is a bonus!

I have to admit I've never heard of this brand, to me it was just another nail polish to add to my draw, this was until I discovered it has non-toxic formula that's super glossy, long-wearing and apparently shock-resistant. I am ever so happy that I received this shade instead of the red as I adore pastels.

I am quite interested in this hair product as I'm extremely used to different sprays to give me volume and texture to my hair. This isn't a product I would of bought but definitely one I'd of liked to try out and now I can. It should keep hair soft instead of crunchy like some sprays and waxes, oh and it smells gorgeous!

I have never liked the idea of using an oil to cleanse my skin, like many people I can't imagine using oil with oily skin, but Glamour has stated that even if you oily skin it's an amazing cleanser not to be scared of. I am definitely excited to try it as it's quite expensive with the large 200ml bottle worth £21.50!

Bourjois have a range of cream blushes which tend to stand out on the high street market, I've always been interested in these but using a cream blusher is a bit of a scary thought, powders just seem a lot more sensible. I am looking forward to trying this out though with my usual make-up look and seeing how well it works, especially as this is such a neutral shade.

This is the cheapest and simplest item included in the box, but quite a clever one considering there's a suntan lotion and a BB tanner as it all relates to the summer aspect. There's not a lot to talk about with a tanning mitt other than the regards of it ensuring tanning is streak free and doesn't stain your hands.

Also included in this amazing box was a crazy amount of offers too that I shall be posting on my Twitter! This box is definitely impressive and I hope their next beauty box is just as great!

Have you got this beauty box? Maybe you've bought another beauty box you love, tell me all about it!
