Review: Clinique Chubby Stick | Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

Clinique have a growing range of chubby sticks from eye tints to their new cheek tints and of course what I'm reviewing today, their lip balms. Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms - what a mouthful, have been around for quite a while though I haven't seen many reviews from beauty bloggers though if you have done a review yourself I would love to read it!

I currently own the shade Super Strawberry which was one of the freebies included in July's glamour issue, so really I got this product for £2. Considering they retail price of the full size stick is £17.00 (here)  it's an absolute bargain and I was lucky to purchase one as they were sold out pretty fast.

The shade is absolute perfect for me, it's a gorgeous pink berry shade that is subtle and flattering. My favourite thing about this balm is how easy it is to apply, it's so smooth and soft on the lips. The colour isn't highly pigmented which is why it's so subtle, though it can be built up to create a more bold look. I'm not surprised with how moisturising this balm is as the formula includes mango and Shea butters. It's literally the perfect product to keep lips hydrated whilst still adding colour, especially when it doesn't have the same finish as other coloured lip balms.

There are a lot of these products on the market, so getting a cheaper alternative is easy because most make-up brands are selling one though they may not be as moisturising and luxurious they are worth it for half the price. Bare in mind that Clinique do have a whopping sixteen shades in their chubby stick range so there no complaints when it comes to finding the perfect shade. I am definitely glad I own this product, when I finish using it I may make an investment into a full size version.
