New Year's Resolutions

Every year people all over the world make resolutions that they say they'll follow through in the new year, but how many of those people actually do? I know I don't! This year I want it to be different, I want to make resolutions which mean next year I can say "I did that! Go me!" and the only way I can do that is to be realistic.

My main resolution is to get healthy and look after myself, I don't necessarily mean to lose weight (although that'd be a bonus) but I want to become more active and eat better foods. I've become very lazy and fussy and I need to be the opposite. By looking after myself it mostly refers to overall self-care. I want to get my haircut regularly, have a proper skin care routine, take my make up off every night, wash my make up brushes frequently and more.

I also want to focus on photography even more than last year. This means going more places, reading more magazines, watching more tutorials and maybe even taking courses.

I would like to try and improve my blog including starting a YouTube channel. I love blogging and would really like to make a go at it this year, including giving it a proper make-over, writing posts more frequently and more.

I need to gain more confidence, this is something I never thought about until last year when I realised how shy I was yet when I'm out of my shell I'm a completely different person. I need to stop being scared of making telephone calls and even going to the doctors.

I really want to achieve my goals including learning to drive, finding a new job and maybe even going to university. These are things I have to do this year and they're more important than all the resolutions put together.
